Paul Warren

Paul grew up in an Anglican Family and became a Christian through (CSSM) Beach Mission in Narooma in 1968. He made a second commitment at age 12 as he prepared for confirmation in Armidale. This led to an insatiable appetite for scriptural knowledge and an active life of ministry.

Completed an electrical apprenticeship in Sydney and met Margaret through Windang Beach Mission. Married Margaret in 1984, one child Benjamin (33, married to Mish), and in May 2020 became a grandparent to a lovely girl, Piper.

After marrying Margaret moved to Dubbo as Regional TAFE Maintenance Electrician for a third of the State. During this time conducted various youth ministries at west Dubbo Anglican and served as Bishop Witt’s Youth Co-ordinator for the Diocese.

Studied at Church Army College, Belrose and commissioned into Church Army, 1992. Over 20 years of paid ministry serving in four denominations, Anglican, Uniting, Baptist and a Pentecostal church. Used Bethel material to help with discipleship, preaching and missions.

Conducted an Electrical contracting business to support church planting on South Coast NSW.

Moved to Menai, after studying a Bachelor of Ministry at Tabor College in 2010 while working for the Baptist Community Services. Currently works as electrician, self-employed, conducting a sub-contractor business.

Presently worship in a congregational church having served five years as a deacon, 3 of which as Congregational chair. Preaches and leads worship, Men’s bible study, and organises many outreach events.

Passionate about addressing the growing biblical illiteracy that has been plaguing the church since the late 1980’s as shown in repeated NCLS Census. Appointed National Director Bethel Australia (incl. Oceania), 2020, by the Adult Christian Education Foundation Australia (ACEFA).
